Research and Development Lab

With a dedicated expertise team, we promote applied research for development of new products solutions, techniques and promotion of appropriate smart technologies. 

We also aim at creation of new industry by industry-academia collaboration in Uganda and Africa in area such as Agriculture, Water, environment and climate change.

We are open to various kinds of partnership which include academia-industry, funding, joint collaborative applied research programs, project design and implementation through signing the partnership. 

We are open to individuals, companies, government organizations and Institutions, International organizations in Africa and the globe. Currently we have collaborations with Busitema University, Dept of Agricultural Mechanization & Irrigation Engineering. Some of the on-going research include;

• Organic fertilizers for soil and Agro-waste management in Uganda
• Irrigation water management through weather & environmental monitoring
• Climate and Environmental monitoring & database system in Uganda (in pipeline)
